Turmeric Latte, vegan & raw
Here is a delicious and comforting recipe for a rich and creamy, vegan and raw turmeric latte! In this recipe no need to do without these precious heat-sensitive compounds, we keep everything inside to make the most of those golden ingredients!
For the almond milk
- 1 cup almonds soaked overnight
- 2 cups water
For the rest of the ingredients
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger chopped
- 1.5 tbsp fresh turmeric chopped
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp agave syrup
Making the almond milk
Place the almonds and water in the blender bowl.
Blend until the consistency is well blended.
Pour the contents through the milk bag, press well to extrat as much milk as possible and discard the almond pulp (you can keep it for another recipe).
Preparation of the golden milk
Place the almond milk in the blender.
Add the rest of the ingredients.
Blend for several minutes until the mixture is homogeneous and getting a golden color.
Pour into the milk bag again and discard the pulp.
Warm the contents in a saucepan to a temperature still comfortable for your little finger.
Pour into your cups, it's ready!
Tip: you can use an extractor to obtain the ginger and turmeric juices directly and then mix them with the other ingredients ;)
